is the best conference in college football so far this year, and Saturday, two of their top dogs

are about to throw down at Washington as they host Oregon. And while we're going to analyze

this one down to the bone, I mean into the nitty-gritty, there's one glaring difference

why Oregon is going to win this game. They're just tougher. Now I'm not saying Washington is soft,

but Dan Laning is built kind of an SEC style team in the Pack 12 on both sides of the ball,

led by physicality over finesse. Now even though both teams have guys that can make wild plays,

there's NFL players running all over this field, and the numbers are going to back that up.

Washington is really just a leap through the passing game, and they truly use the run only as a counter.

I mean they rush the ball under 40% of the time. Now you look at Oregon, they're closer to half and

half. Now with the new clock rules, the team that runs the ball the most effectively can keep the

other team on the sideline, play a little game a keep away. So when a game where two elite

offenses are squaring up, you have to be on the field to ball out. They say the best ability

is availability. Now the Washington defense has been top 20 in the country so far, but they're giving

up almost four yards a rush, and as crazy as this may sound, at least up to this point,
