First though, the price of Washington's stimulus failure is today's one big thing.

If you can believe it, we're well into September,

which means that Congress is focused on their own re-election

campaigns and of course now the vacancy in the Supreme Court. So what about the

stimulus package? Elena Trine is Axiosis politics and congressional reporter.

The state of play is not looking good.

Unfortunately, there's still no additional stimulus funding.
