All right, another Sunday recap edition of Always College Football.

Let's go through it, man.

Gotta start with the game of the day.

And I think when you look at both Oregon and Washington, and look, I thought coming into the game it was going to be a great matchup.

And I think we all kind of came out of that one.

I know someone had to lose.

Someone had to come up short not ultimately was Oregon

But I don't think anyone felt like Oregon wasn't capable of winning nor does anyone think that Oregon isn't legit. I actually think it's one of those

weird games where both teams actually probably grew their respect level amongst the people that watched the game because of just how

well Oregon performed in the matchup. Obviously there's going to be a lot of talk

about the fourth down decision-making from Dan Lanting because you're going to think about the fact that they lost and that's ultimately what you can point your finger to.

Totally get it, totally think it's okay to have maybe some questions or some doubts with how things went.

But I would also say we would be having the same conversation about the other side of the coin and Kalin de Boer on his fourth down goal line

stand sequence play calling had they not won the game ultimately or maybe just

overall their offensive identity in the second half of the football game because

they had no rhythm offensively whatsoever they They were taking unnecessary shots and think

penics had in a rhythm at all until the last drive.

So look, someone has to lose and I feel like we as a society feel better when we can point blame at one direction.

I think the decision by Dan Landon to go for it was the correct one. You're going to say, well, how can you possibly

say that? It didn't work. Understandable. But this was almost like an arena football game

back in the day. It was, well, if we're going to go for it, we can

win it right now with their Heisman Trophy caliber quarterback on the
