All right, so I've been sharing about the basics

of maturity and I've talked from Romans chapter 12

verse one about being a living sacrifice, just being totally committed to God, you are never going to

go very far if you don't get off the throne of your life and turn over control to God.

And I tell you, most Christians were told that the reason to get saved is so you

won't go to hell and so they pray and they receive salvation and they get an

assurance that they aren't going to hell and then they're saved

and stuck just waiting on heaven but they're struggling through life

because they have not become a disciple all they are is a convert and so that's the first not verse two talks about being not conformed to this world but being transformed by the

renewing of your mind.

And so really those are the two steps right there to be a living sacrifice and then to get into the word.

But once you get into the word, then you have to start changing some things.

And so I've also expanded and talked about the next thing was this morning that you need the baptism of the Holy

Spirit and speaking in tongues.

You need the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Christian life is not meant to be lived independent of the Holy Spirit. It's supposed to be God living

through you and sad to say so many Christians, they are living, they're making their own choices,

doing their own thing, and hoping that it pleases
