Let's turn back over to John chapter 16, and I'm going to continue to talk about the positive

ministry of the Holy Spirit.

I've been ministering on this all weekend.

John chapter 16, verse 7, Jesus said, nevertheless, I tell you the truth.

Anytime Jesus had to start with saying, I'm telling you the truth.

Everything he said was true.

So this means that he was about to say something that was so astounding, so, you know,

it was like it was unbelievable. He had to tell him, I'm telling you the truth because they

wouldn't have believed this. I'm telling you the truth. It is expedient for you. That means it's to

your advantage that I go away, for if I go not away, the comforter

will not come unto you, but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And so we've been talking

about how it's actually better to have the ministry of the Holy Spirit present day. What we're

experiencing right here tonight is better than if Jesus was here in his physical body.

That's hard to believe. And I'm not discounting Jesus in his physical body and his earthly ministry at all,

but the ministry of the Holy Spirit is even more to our advantage is what he's saying.

That's a radical statement. And then he said in verse 8, and when he has come, he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.

And I've been talking about that the Holy Spirit has been maligned and misrepresented. And basically,

people say that the Holy Spirit condemns you when

you sin and makes you feel miserable, tells you that you're unrighteous and that if you don't
