Wendy Adelson was once seen as a bright, accomplished attorney and mother of two,

but beneath the polished exterior lay a bitter custody battle,

a failed marriage, and a family

obsessed with control.

When her ex-husband Dan Markell was gunned down in his driveway in 2014, execution-style,

questions immediately turned to motive.

Prosecutors alleged Wendy Wendy's mother Donna Adelson

orchestrated the hit desperate to free her daughter from court-imposed

visitation and the pain of shared parenting though Wendy has never been charged

her name echoes in courtrooms and podcasts tethered forever to the plot

that ended Dan's life. She gave strange interviews. Now her mother, Donna is getting ready to face

murder charges in court more than 10 years after the murder. Will the words of Wendy be used to convict her own mother just

like her brother? And during the trial of that brother, Charlie Adelson, there was a lot of

talk about Donna Adelson, both inside the courtroom, like from the witness stand, as well as folks commenting online in conversations that people were having about the case.
