I will you're now gonna discuss a team fresh off the best season in franchise history since 1979

No, this is the third year we've done it so you you're maxing out. That's right. Take that everybody else who comes on

Yeah, 2015 is the earliest was the first year that we did these so where I want to start with

Washington a very salient question here because they have retained much of the team that went 49 and 33 a year ago

How good were these guys last year? Yeah, it's a good question because if you look at the sum of the whole

49 33 point differential of about a little less than that second round team

But they almost had four seasons in one the way I look at it

They had the terrible start where they're one of the worst teams they start two and eight

They have about a month and a half where they're like winning games, but they're not really winning games very convincingly

And that kind of gets their record back up

But I just you don't think they don't look like this really great team and then I the game my mark off

That was always significant to me as a moment was they were down double digits at home to Philly in early January or mid-January

And then the second half they blew them off the court they blew Portland off the court the next night and then for a

17 game stretch until they all start break there the second best team the league behind Golden State

They're 15 and two they have one loss at the buzzer to Detroit and one loss to Cleveland on that amazing game on TNT

They win every other game their point differential is only again only the warriors are better and like nobody is

Near them. There's a lot of them a tier of their own and so for those 17 games they were one of the best teams ever

And then after that they kind of reverted a little bit back into their like kind of December January form where they're winning games

But not particularly impressively so I don't know you bring that all together and it kind of the record makes sense

But like they almost had four seasons and one so that's why it's sort of interesting to ask like how good they were
