• The Drive at 5: While speaking with FBI whistleblowers at Thursday’s House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, Rep. Matt Gaetz’ (R-FL) questioning seemingly revealed that undercover officers were present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021. Gaetz tweeted that this is despite FBI Director Christopher Wray saying otherwise. On Friday, Gaetz held a press briefing to further address the explosive Congressional testimony.
• On his MSNBC show, Chris Hayes claimed it was hypocritical for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to advocate for the prevention of “gender affirmation care” for children while concurrently arguing for parental rights in education.

In some cities it is much longer. In New York City, new migrants do not have to appear in court until 2032.” Locally, the backlog in Mount Laurel, New Jersey is over 4,000—with no new court dates for migrants until May of 2026, according to estimations.
