We actually went to the same seminary. And I feel like I stalled out and you kept going, brother. I mean, like, you just kept on going in the academic world. And I just, I'm a flunky. It's fun to have you on. We were talking about how the school we were at, Redeemer Theological Seminary, it's unfortunately no longer around,

kind of this connection between confessional unity, kind of an ecumenical spirit,

really within the reformed tradition. And it was a real sweet time being there.

and do some lectures. That was fun because she was one of the instructors that we had. Yeah, it was a great time.

Man, and she's a great scholar. If you haven't ever checked out Esther Meeks' work on epistemology, it is really fascinating stuff. This whole season, we are dealing with tricky topics and questions. We're not really looking for hot takes, but rather to learn how to think theologically about everything, even what can feel controversial or pragmatic. and today we're kind of asking, we're going to start with a historical question,

but I'm confident it's going to lead us to a conversation about Christian engagement in

political spaces today and the life of our world today.
