I'm super excited today to bring you a conversation that I got to have with my friend John Harris of the Conversations That Matter podcast all about Christian nationalism and the founding of our nation. Do we have a Christian founding? This is a topic that's been hotly debated for pretty much the entire time since the founding or since anyone was far removed enough to

forget what was actually at the founding and the beliefs that our forefathers held so near and dear.

But I think you'll find that John addresses this from a very balanced perspective. He's not a

fanatic. He is level-headed. He is a historian

and a student of history. And he's going to share a ton of wisdom and knowledge with us today in

this episode, which I know is going to benefit you as it did me. It was very encouraging. I said

after I recorded it that this was one of my favorite episodes I've ever done, if not my favorite,

because it's melding history, politics, theology, culture, all of my favorite subject areas together into one conversation that is actually super timely and helpful and just beneficial for

the body of Christ right now.

These conversations are going on.

I think we need to understand them.

We need to be knowledgeable and equipped to give a reason for the hope that we have

and to engage meaningfully and wisely with the culture.
