Summary

The Golden State Warriors held on to win tonight over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 116-115, closing out the road trip with a much-needed win. After jumping out to a 24-point lead in the first quarter, the Golden State Warriors let Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves back into this game in the second half but had just enough in the tank to outlast the comeback and secure the win. Stephen Curry led the offensive charge for the Golden State Warriors with 31 points and seven made three pointers. Gary Payton II made his return from injury tonight and provided a spark on defense, and Gui Santos got his first NBA start and was effective again. Andrew Wiggins was a major factor tonight, grabbing rebounds and hitting shots in key moments.
