Shockingly, the Warriors came in here to New Orleans as underdogs, even though New Orleans is missing some of their biggest pieces. Drew Holiday Sitz, Derek favorite sits, obviously

Zion's out. Will Gillery, New Orleans athletic, Pelicans writer. This has not been a good start

to the season for the Pelicans tonight. They really helped the Warriors out.

The Warriors needed this.

Yeah, it was pretty ugly.

Like you said, I don't think anybody expected this result to look the way it did.

I mean, the final score made it look a little bit better, but anybody that was in the building

knew this thing was a blowout pretty much from the second quarter on.

It was ugly, and I think for this Pels team it's just

more disappointment considering the injuries are starting to pile up now. The losses are piling up

and I think they're just struggling to find footing at this point. Yeah the favors deactivation which

you would assume would be kind of and really is this sense, like the third most important of those

holidays, the best players, Zion's obviously the future. But the favors one was big for the Warriors
