This is the Warrior Kid podcast number 41 Ask Uncle Jake. This podcast is based on the five

way of the warrior kid books. The first one, wave the warrior kid. The second one, Mark's mission.

The third one, where there's a will. The fourth one, field manual. And book five letters from

Uncle Jake. And these books are about young mark who faces

a lot of the same problems that kids everywhere face but mark gets help solving those problems from

his uncle jake who is a navy seal and who stays with mark in the summertime there's also a movie coming out this year that does a great job showing Mark's journey

to becoming a warrior kid.

And this podcast is for kids to hear some more lessons from Uncle Jake and also to get the

chance to ask Uncle Jake some questions. But it doesn't always happen like that exactly

because today I have another author on this podcast to talk about her book. And her name is Ryan Mannion

and her brother whose name was Travis Mannion was a United States Marine hero

who was killed in Iraq when he was helping to save some of his fellow Marines and Travis was a true

warrior and this is not just when he was a Marine. He was a warrior kid as well. And his sister,

Ryan, wrote a book to teach people, especially kids, the things that her brother, Travis,

said. And these are words that guided him and kept him on the warrior path. So Ryan, thank you very much for

joining us. Oh, thanks for having me, Jocko. So your book is called Things My Brother Used to Say.

And this is a great book and teaches some incredible lessons that your brother taught to you.
