And I wanted to start with a lesson that I think is very important for Warrior Kids.

And that lesson is this.

When you start something new, you aren't going to be very good at it. Now, this might seem obvious, but it's true,

and a lot of people don't think about this. Some kids think that when they start something new,

they're going to be amazing at it. Like playing a sport like soccer or or wrestling or basketball or jiu-jitsu.

They think when they started they're going to be amazing at it.

But it doesn't work that way.

You have to practice to get good at something.

And that means when you start, you haven't practiced yet so you are not going to be good at it. You are going to drop the ball when you're playing football. You're going to miss the basket when you play basketball. You're going to get pinned when you wrestle. You're going to miss the goal when you're playing soccer. You're going to get tapped out in jiu-jitsu. You are going to lose. You're just not going to be very good when you start. But this is what I want
