This is the Warrior Kid Podcast number 34, Ask Uncle Jake.

And this podcast is based on the four way of the Warrior Kid books.

The first one, Wimpy to Warrior, the Navy Seal Way, the second one, Mark's Mission,

the third one, where there's a will, and the latest one, Book 4, Field Manual.

The books are about young Mark who faces a lot of problems that kids everywhere face,

but Mark gets help solving those problems from his Uncle Jake, who was a Navy Seal,

and who stays with Mark in the summertime.

This podcast is for kids to hear some more lessons from Uncle Jake,

and also to get the chance to ask Uncle Jake some questions.

But for today, I wanted to let you know about this new Warrior Kid book that I haven't talked about yet on the Warrior Kid Podcast.

It is called Way of the Warrior Kid 4 Field Manual, and I will read you the opening chapter of the new book,

which I think will give you a good idea of what the book is about.

So let's go to the book.

This is the introduction, and it is called I Am the Leader.

Unbelievable! I almost made it through a whole year of school without needing any help from Uncle Jake.

Everything went pretty smoothly in 8th grade.

I studied hard, and I did well in my classes, even after we had to do them online from home.

In math class, I learned about algebra, geometry, and probability.

In English class, I read speeches, fiction and nonfiction books, and I wrote essays and reports.

In history, we learned about America, settling the colonies, the revolutionary war, the structure of our government, and about the Civil War.

I had fun in science, too, where we studied the scientific method, Earth science, and learned all about atomic theory.

We even did some cool experiments in the lab when we got to go to school.
