More data on the labor market.

You guys know that's what the focus is here on this channel because we're trying to figure out what on earth is going on with the economy.

Is the labor market right?

Or is it real?

Whoa, is it real GDP?

Which one is correct and which one is false and lying and misleading all of us?

So whenever we get more information on the labor market itself,

we definitely want to pay attention to that.

So let's go over to the survey with probably the weirdest name, I can imagine.

And that is the Challenger Gray and Christmas survey.

Just came out yesterday.

And remember, if you didn't watch the video yesterday that I did on the labor market,

we had low ADP numbers.

We had initial claims, spike, and joltz numbers.

We had extremely, extremely poor joltz numbers.

There's job openings.

So let's get into the nitty gritty here from the most recent Challenger,

Gray and Christmas report. Obviously, their last names, but it kind of just sounds weird when

you Christmas and gray. Here we go. Job cuts surge in January. Highest January total since 2009. So I don't know how you can sit there and argue. Now, I do know how you can sit there and argue that the United States economy is booming.

And that's if you only look at GDP. If you only look at that one metric, I totally get it.

But when you look at all the other metrics, I don't know how you can come to that conclusion
