High school friends Evie and Kara were enjoying a normal Saturday when Kara froze and whispered, “There’s somebody by your swings.” She described a teen boy in a black hoodie, long hair hiding his face, walking behind the swing set—exactly what Evie had seen before but dismissed as shadows.

The next day, while standing near the swings, the air grew heavy, and they both felt watched. Evie caught a glimpse of the boy again—gliding past, vanishing in seconds.

Later that night, they spotted something eerie in a photo: every shadow leaned the same way—except for a tall, thin shadow standing between the swings, facing the wrong direction.

At first, the boy’s presence felt strangely calm—until the pale girl appeared. One autumn evening, she stood silently between the swing chains, her light hair glowing in the dusk. The calm feeling vanished, replaced by a heavy dread that sent them running inside.

Soon, there were whispers, humming, even Evie’s little brother refusing to go outside, saying, “The white lady doesn’t want me near the swings.”

When the family finally tore down the swing set, the strange activity stopped.
