I'll be with you for a few minutes this morning as we enter into an unprecedented

situation with regards to Iran. Today's broadcast is entitled, Trump is like Patton. I watched

President Trump speech and I was quite astonished by his alacrity and resolve.

Very unusual in a time of double talk and nanny men.

I found a quote from President, excuse me, I found a quote from General George S. Patton, a hero of many of us who said this.

George Patton said this in a speech to the Third Army on the eve of the Allied invasion of France in 1944.

It was eerily similar to what Trump said today, in different words, of course.

Here's what Patton said on that evening.

I don't want to get any messages saying, I'm holding my position.

We are not holding a thing.

Let the Germans do that.

We are advancing constantly, and we are not interested in

holding on to anything except the enemy's balls. Our basic plan of operation is to advance

and to keep on advancing, regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy.

We are going to go through him like through a goose.

Now, for those of you who expect a quick victory, I do not share that with you.

I believe many of you believe this will be a brief and victorious campaign against Iran.

I wish I could share that with you, but I do not.

War is never what those who engage in it to be expected. Never. It's never what war is ever. I've studied war. I'm not a warrior, but I'm a student of many things, including war, and I have a lot of friends who are warriors. And they all tell me the same thing. War is not predictable.
