or other co-host um we're going to have a forum discussion this evening on war propaganda

and we've invited some uh well very interesting speakers to to the panel um as they arrive as when they arrive we're going to cycle them in

and if you are if you have been pre-invited as a panel member and you're not on the speakers

platform right now don't worry we'll rotate you we'll rotate you guys in in due. So I'm just going to add my other co-host, hold on.

And we've invited some academics who, a few of them, they'll be able to join us when they're available,

experts in propaganda, some of them are published'll be able to join us when they're available experts in propaganda.

Some of them are published authors.

We've also invited some journalists who are working on the front line of war propaganda.

And we're going to do a basic, I think, overview.

Obviously, Ukraine is front and center in everybody's mind right now, but we will be

referring to and looking at war propaganda as it relates to Syria, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan,

and other conflict zones from a Western perspective. And that's what we're most concerned about.

Certainly myself as a journalist, this is what I'm concerned about.

And I find myself, and I think I can speak for my colleagues.

We seem to be battling propaganda on all fronts all the time.

And this is a full-time sort of battle that a lot of people are engaged in is really

at the end of the day trying to get as close as possible version of the truth out to the public

or to your electorate or your voters. We all live in the West. We believe we're living in

democracies. So that said, we believe we're living in democracies.

So that said, we should be well informed, certainly if, especially when it comes to how our public money is being spent overseas.
