Summary

A new advanced placement course for high school students on African-American studies has been rejected by Florida for lacking “Educational value”. A proposed Missouri Bill would also ban critical race theory in schools and offer teacher training in “Patriotism”. That, as a former state attorney says Florida Governor DeSantis “abused his power” when suspending him for "neglect of duty" after he signed a pledge not to prosecute cases involving abortion or transgender health care. A federal judge orders Trump and his lawyer to pay nearly $1 million in sanctions for a “Frivolous” lawsuit. Plus, $5 million in reparations has been proposed for each eligible black resident of San Francisco, New York City starts offering free abortion pills at sexual health clinics, and Alec Baldwin intends to finish production of his movie “Rust” despite facing charges for a fatal on-set shooting.Hosted by Laura Coates.
