Well, Jeremy, yes, as you just reported there and I put on social media earlier,

there were a series of very loud blasts in the area of

Dubai that I'm based in. That's in the marina area. It's a very touristy area, actually,

and also very popular residential place. And those blasts were the loudest we've heard yet but equally we are reassured that they are

most likely the sound of interception by the UAE's quite sophisticated THAA interception kit.

That is the terminal high altitude area defense system that the authorities have here.

And it is one of the most advanced defense systems in the world. And one of the effects that it has is when there is an intercept, it can create a kind of what they call a canyon effect, so a kind of reverberation

that makes it sound as if that activity is actually a lot closer than it is.
