With no end in sight to the war in Ukraine today, Kieve has been thrown a financial and military lifeline by the European Union.

For six weeks now, a $54 billion package of financial and military aid has been held up because

of objections by Hungary.

Now though the EU has unanimously passed the deal.

President of the European Parliament, Roberto Metzola, said Ukraine was their priority.
