Today we're going to move back to all the news episodes

because, oh boy, haven't released

them in a while, but there's been quite a lot of things actually happening. So, you know,

prepare for a bunch of information dump. First of all, Russia's digital development communications

and mass media ministry has proposed reforms that would find telecoms operators a percentage of

their gross income for failing to install the hardware required to operate the system for operative

investigative activities, SOARM, which is basically wiretapping equipment that allows Russian law

enforcement officials to monitor telephone conversations, text messages,

and internet traffic. The ministry also wants to require the Federal Protective Services

approval before issuing new telecoms operating licenses. So basically, they want to monitor
