Tonight, the so-called fact-checker of the Washington Post, Glenn Kessler, suffered one of the most extreme

and justified humiliations of any journalist in quite some time. On Saturday, the fact-chequer

published an article reporting to assign three Pinocchio's to the claim by

Donald Trump and other Republicans at the candidacy of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg,

the Democratic District Attorney who just oversaw Trump's indictment in New York

was backed by mega-financier George Soros. Assigning various Pinocios is the

infantile method the post-fact checkers used to claim that certain statements are lies.

The one slight problem, Kessler's own article approved and even implicitly acknowledge that it is absolutely true that Bragg's candidacy was supported

with lots of money from George Soros and indeed there's no denying that this is true.

As a result, the new feature on Twitter called Community Notes

designed to fact-check various claims made by journalists and others twice

fact-chat the post-fact-checker.

First, when he posted his original claim

that three Pinocchio's were warranted

for saying that Bragg's candidacy was backed by George Soros.

And then again, when he complained about the community

notes, fact-checking him and misdescribed

what the community notes said.
