Morning everybody, welcome along to your free podcast for today, Thursday, the 7th of September.

And as we wake up to the staggering news that Megan McKenna has knocked Taylor Swift off the top of the charts with a debut single, yes, Megan McKenna has. And I thought to myself,

God, I mean, that's quite something. She has a show on at the moment where she's over in Nashville

doing something. As long as she stays over there, I don't really care. But of course,

she's been in Ex-on-the-Beach, Towie, and appearing at a local library probably very soon, I should imagine. And so I was curious to

discover, you know, just how much of a singing voice has she got and how many records you need to

sell to actually get to number one in the charts. Well, the second answer you're looking for is

not very many. Taylor Swift, of course, has probably sold shed loads. Megan McKenna has just

sold that little bit extra, but only on this one week so she can get to number one. You'll know

if it's slightly dodgy, if next week it drops out of the charts. But anyway, in the meantime,

for music lovers everywhere, put your fingers in your ears, and here's a bit of Megan McKenna.

The song is called, incidentally, high-heeled shoes.

Yeah, thank you. Multi-tracked, as you can hear, and probably with a bit of auto-tuning,

which always makes it sound slightly electronic. And she said she's, she's very flattered.

Very, very flattered. So she gets number one. And then you've got, there's all sorts of people

in there, think, I've never heard of think before. Also, duo leap, leaper. I think I've heard of

duo leaper as well, actually. James Hype?

No, why have I not heard of anybody in the show? This is probably why I'm working for LBC, ladies and gentlemen.
