Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walls, State Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frye,

have all received subpoenas from the Department of Justice.

Fox News originally reported on this development on Tuesday and said it relates to an investigation into obstruction of immigration and customs enforcement operations.

Walls's office and Fry's office confirmed to KMSP TV that they received the subpoenas.

Walls also posted a statement on social media to President Trump.

The subpoenas asked for records and communications

from the politicians related to this surge of federal officers in Minnesota. The Associated

Press reported that other subpoenas were also sent to St. Paul Mayor Koli Kerr was

previously admitted she is an illegal immigrant and officials in Ramsey County as well as

Annapin County. Both counties,

of course, encompass the Twin Cities region. Keith Ellison, the Attorney General in Minnesota,

was interviewed in part by Don Lamon the other day and actually says this about the protests,

the invasion, the ransacking, the desecration of city's church by Don

Lemon and other commies on Sunday. The protest is the fundamental to American society. This

country started in a protest. And, you know, it's freedom of expression. People have a right to lift up their voices and make their peace.

And none of us are immune from the voice of the public.

So quite honestly, I think that you got the First Amendment, freedom of religion,

and the Freedom of Amendment, First Amendment, freedom of expression.
