I'm Jim Martin and this is Adventure Rider Radio. This week we got a good one for you. We've got Walter Colbatch and now if you've done any research into

Riding in the stands Mongolia Siberia Russia. You've probably come across Walter Colbatch.

He's well known for riding these areas, he's done a fair bit of it, and he's really into

riding with lightweight bikes into remote areas.

And today we're going to talk to Walter about his exploits in these areas, but as well we're

going to talk about his views on adventure motorcycling, an adventure motorcycle itself, what size and type of bike that he prefers.

We're going to cover things like car versus fuel injection, soft luggage versus hard,

and really importantly, some of the first things that Walter does when he's planning a trip. So if you're thinking of planning a

trip and it doesn't have to be to the backwaters of Russia or into Siberia or

Mongolia or the stands, but anywhere for that matter, Walter's got some

you plan your next trip.
