Good afternoon, fellow investors, and welcome back to Invest talk. This is our Tuesday, November 5th,

2024 edition of InvestTalk. And yeah, that means today is election day. A lot of you will probably

be listening after hours and you might know the election results, but as of now, votes are

still coming in.

Votes are, I know, I think some of the polls are starting to close on the East Coast, but we

probably won't know much until tomorrow morning.

But, you know, that's something to talk about then.

You know, there's not much really to

say now until we know the results and we can start to look at what sectors might impact,

might change leadership in the market based on the outcome, as well as, you know, does the

broad market shift? I think the answer to the latter

is probably no. There's so many other more important factors, which we're going to dig into

on today's show and talk about why, you know, this election, as most elections, are a bit

overblown in their impact on overall market returns and the broader

economy.

Now, with that said, we're going to refocus on what we do every day on the show, which is help

you become a better investor by giving you the facts on the ground, the perspective developed over 25 years of investment experience, and really dial in the mindset so you can make good decisions with your money on a consistent basis.
