| 0:00.0 | Brian Stewart, welcome back to another round of Wall Street Roundup. |
| 0:16.0 | Welcome back to the show after a week off. |
| 0:18.2 | Yeah, I appreciate it. Thank you. |
| 0:19.3 | Talk to us. What are you thinking about these |
| 0:21.2 | days yeah so the past week um it's really been a macro week uh the market there's just not a lot of |
| 0:27.1 | corporate specific data coming out earning seasons over um we're just not getting a lot of news flow |
| 0:33.7 | so really the market is moving on the big issues and the biggest issue, obviously, |
| 0:38.3 | this week has been the conflict in Iran. There were some, you know, signs early on. The Trump |
| 0:45.7 | administration had come out and said that they were close to an end that negotiations were |

| 1:30.1 | And so I just was thinking how interesting it is, how much the economy has changed over 40 years or so, where now, you know, it's sort of a, and also ran on the list of biggest companies in the world. |
| 1:43.8 | So it's kind of interesting to have those kind of stocks kind of in the news. |
| 1:47.8 | Again, another example of that is telecom stocks did very well this week. |
| 1:52.0 | I mean, in a down week, AT&T was up 3%. |
| 1:55.0 | T-Mobile was up about 3%. |
| 1:56.8 | Verizon was up about 2%. |
| 1:58.4 | These are companies that are considered defensive stocks. |
| 2:00.7 | You know, |
