We can turn in the scriptures to Hebrews.

Hebrews 8 and verse 10.

We take the word very seriously around here.

And it's not just a matter of a little homily or sermonette or a little pep talk or a little focus about current social issues.

Uh-uh.

We believe this word is life to your spirit and health to your body and illumination to your mind, everything that you

need, peace, joy.

Jesus said, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the

mouth of God.

So let's release our faith in this, and we don't believe that we just need to hear men giving us their ideas.

It's not for me or any other preacher to tell you what to believe or to tell you what

we think. We're supposed to tell you by the unction of the Holy Spirit, we're supposed to yield

to him and give revelation of the Word. And if you see that the Holy Spirit, we're supposed to yield to him and give revelation of the Word.

And if you see that the Word says this, then you should know that's what you believe.

Right?

And that's what you do.

And you need to see it for yourself, not just what somebody else thinks.

Thank God you don't have to know God vicariously through somebody else. You don't have to just rely on somebody else's experience or ideas. God is real and he's knowable and you can know him for yourself.

Everybody said out loud, I can know him for myself.

Amen.

So let's agree in prayer right now for the utterance and the ability to hear.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we present ourselves before you, before your Holy Spirit, who is our teacher,
