If you listen often enough, you know I'm an advocate of lament and grief, and this is an

important and often missing element in the church today.

You know, I love the church, but we as God's people need to make room for those who are grieving.

enter in to the mess without platitudes and ill-timed Bible verses and, you know, advice to rush people

through the process. It's messy. You can't sprint through it, though. This message today isn't

for everybody, but I think it is.
