Hello my friends, welcome again to Add Home with Sally and friends. And I promised you

the other day that I would be with my sweet friends, Jenny and Gretchen today. And so one

of the things that we all have mysteriously gone through, not as I've gone the furthest,

but is that all mysterious time of teenagehood. And I get so many questions about how are

you supposed to deal with teens and what do you do with their issues. And so we're going

to try to just jump in here today and begin answering some of the things that we wish

somebody had told us when we were young moms moving from the mysterious golden years of

elementary school into the very mysterious and upheaval times of teenagehood. So welcome

again to my podcast today, my friends. So glad you're with us. And I'm going to ask

you this question. Clay was telling me today, first of all, that he's been reading some

articles that say that teens right now are having so much trouble. They're doing a lot of

car jackings. Have you heard this? They're 13 and 15 year olds, 12 and 14 year olds.

They're getting into trouble. They're, you know, they are, this COVID has been so hard

on teenagers. I was actually on focus on the family today. And I did an interview with

them and they were talking about how this year when their children were supposed to have

graduations and proms or, or, you know, just special trips or whatever. When I was there,

there were several parents talking. And this has been such a disappointing year. So we

have many things to talk about both how to help your children, how to cultivate a life
