This is the movement of the Holy Family.

Well, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed this evening to be with a wonderful group called the Shepherds of Hope.

They're a group that comes together to support each other with people who struggle with depression or anxiety or live with or care for those who struggle with depression and anxiety.

So this is a fantastic group of eight people.

So they've got their team and they're supporting one another.

But this is what everybody needs. everybody needs a small group of family and friends

To share life to share their struggles to share their faith

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. Now we've been meditating

after the sermon on the Mount on the miracles of Jesus and one of the miracles that strikes me the most is in Matthew chapter 14 where Jesus walks on water.

So after the multiplication of the loaves,

Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on a head to the other side

while he would send the crowds away.

And then he went up into the hills to pray.

I love this place in the Holy Land,'s it's one of the three spots on the north

shore of the sea of Galilee where Jesus would spend time in prayer. So many in the first centuries many pilgrims would go to this spot to pray.

And it gives you a great view of the north shore, the north part of the Sea of Galley.

So Jesus would have retreated up, little way up the Mount of Beatitudes,

and watched the disciples then struggling across

against this heavy wind. But to sit there where Jesus

prayed and to pray was so powerful.
