Our grandson is at that adorable age where he loves to mimic everything we do.

If we laugh, he laughs, if we clap, he claps.

He wants to eat what we eat, drink what we drink, and go where we go, imitating all that

we do.

Meditation is the most sincere form of flattery.

To imitate someone is to pay the person a genuine compliment, even sometimes an unattended

compliment.

So who do you imitate?

Who do you most often mimic?

Well the theme of this meditation from Colossians chapter 2 is mimicking.

Being as others do, acting as they act, and walking as they walk.

So to begin your meditation, find a place to be aware and mindful.

We will be together in this sheltering time for about 15 minutes.

But for now, begin to note your breathing beginning to relax.

When your eyes move from open to a soft gaze to then finally closed, intentionally becoming

more aware of the presence of God, spirit, and sun.

You want in this time of reflection by responding to this passage from Ephesians chapter 5.

And as I lead us, respond simply, Lord, let me walk with you.
