And when you go back and you think of all the things that you've done, it's nothing to really boast about.

It's ugly.

All the people you've heard, all the things that you said to demean people.

And yet when God looked down from heaven and he saw you in that darkness and then you repented and you gave your life to him look what he's done now

In Ephesians chapter 5, verse 8, here's Roll Rees.

Paul the apostle now is coming to the conclusion of his epistle.

He's actually in chapter 5, he still has to deal with the walking with wisdom.

He's going to be dealing with wives and husbands, children, fathers, servants, masters,

and then he's going to be dealing with the armor of God. And then he'll come to the final

conclusion in his epistle. But tonight we want to actually look at verses 8 through 14, where he

talks about walking in the light. Listen to what he says, beginning with verse 8.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.
