Today is Tuesday. It is September the 16th. I appreciate you being along for the ride with me on this second week of kind of chaotic stuff going on. A lot of stuff I want to cover today. And I'm going to give you kind of a quick little taste and preview. First, we're going to talk about a little bit of financial news and whether or not the Fed is going to get a chance to drop interest rates. I think that's something that those of us that may be in the housing market in the near future are interested in, for those you that are interested in borrowing money, that's going to be something that's going to make a difference. And obviously, it's a jumpstart to the economy when you start cheapening the money supply again. But there's always some politics that are involved in it, and Trump's attempt to get rid of somebody on the Federal Reserve Reserve Board looks like it's stalled out in the appeals courts. So that's worth talking about. So we're going to talk a little bit about lawfare in that way. Also a lawfare case that the Trump administration is pushing back. We're going to go do that. We're going to do more updates, as you can imagine, the ongoing sort of saga of what happens with the person accused of shooting Charlie Kirk. There's more of that. And the response, J.D. Vance went on and hosted his podcast yesterday.

We're going to talk a little bit about what was said. And I think that there's a moment right now that

is being seized, but I'm not sure that it's a good, a good seizing. This discussion of whether or not

you can make peace with people on the political left. I think it's a good a good seizing this discussion of whether or not you can make peace

with people on the political left i think there's a danger right now that there's a demonization

of all people that believe things left of center and yes we've talked about the the propensity for

violence and the assassination culture which was brought up a couple days ago highly

encourage you guys go back and watch a couple of the last episodes because of that. But that being said, it doesn't mean that that's the entirety of the left, even if it is a good chunk of them and that there's a much higher percentage. So we're going to try to get between sort of the noise there and get down to the signal of how strong is it, how dangerous is that group? And is it really appropriate to say things at a moment like this where we're going to just

ignore American civil liberties?
