Everyone's an idiot. Hi. Hey, spiking Chris back. Same day on Monday. Oh, I don't know when you're listening to this. Talk about last night's Sunday nights walking dead. It is the mid-season finale. Yeah, about five minutes ago, you said you want to do this? Of course, this is the best episode of the season. Well, to me, I did you think it was. Yeah, I thought it was terrible. I thought it. Yeah, and okay, so full disclosure here that I while I was watching it, I was not like

my mind was elsewhere. Like I was just all I was thinking was please finish up and end because I was trying to watch the Eagles game and the walking dead at the same time. So Chris and I had similar plans in that with close to the end of the first half, we started watching Walking Dead and then go back to the Eagles game afterwards and catch up through DVR just by watching the plays. I didn't even DVR the Eagles game. Oh, I just took like a break every five like whenever walking dead went to commercial. Yeah, yeah, I go check in on the game.

See, I couldn't do that because my girlfriend wouldn't have had that. So and you know, that's her prerogative. And I felt like I needed to watch all of it. So clearly our responsibilities with the Eagles are a little bit different and that I feel like I got to see all of it because I got it. They got a show on Wednesday night. So whatever. But my head was because I didn't know I'd be able to catch up so quickly with the Eagles game because I watch everything in real time and never watch DVR football. And you really can catch up pretty quickly. Like there's very little football in action.

Yeah, absolutely. So so my mind was elsewhere. But like I was like I don't I don't know. I know there were things that happened that were that were entertaining. And I know that they, you know, they they added a bunch of new characters so they can kill more characters. Well, so I all season. I think I've been harping on they need to add some new characters. Right. And last week it led me to these actors are terrible. Right. So the very

first scene with and I don't know this actor's name. But it's a dude who was in the wire named Cutty. So he is a he's a legit actor. Right. He's been in in TV series before. Which guy is he he's the he's the big. He was the first guy you saw who just ran around killing zombies. He looked like he was in charge. They got with the hammer. Yes. The guy in charge of that that new group. Right. So

when I first saw him, I said, good, this is what they need to do. Now don't kill if if he makes it through this episode, he's going to be part of this show for at least the rest of this season, maybe into next season, he's going to be a real part of of this group, just based on the fact that that he's acted before. And I've seen him in things before. Okay.

Now, by the way, Merle has been in a ton of things and actually a good actor and is playing a really terrible part, but at least I guess he's lasted. So yeah. Okay. All right.

So I think that's what you need. I've been saying that all season that you needed you needed interesting interesting characters and good actors. And although he didn't see a ton from him, I think you're going to in this in this second in the second half of the season. Well, but you can't to to that extent, you can't polish it.

Turned, right? So he can be the best actor in the world. And if he's handed, like, if they don't develop the character and they give him bad lines to say, I think like that's like, I don't doubt that anybody in the show is a good actor actually. Like I just, I think that they're all handed.

Handed these like, I think the show is like is ridiculous and is a is like is headed down like like a really, really, really, really bad path. Like like my Val, my girlfriend said to me afterwards, like, after the final scene, she was like, like, she was all like choked up because of Darryl and Merle in the middle of the thing. And she's like, they can't kill Darryl can they? And I was like, why can't they kill Darryl? I was like, I don't think they're going to kill Darryl.

I was like, but they've killed off like so many lead characters in the last half season when you include Shane in the season before Shane was the end of season two, right? I was like, what, what difference would it make if they killed him or didn't kill him? It doesn't, it doesn't make any difference. I was like, I just, I don't know, like the whole thing just became so like, so whatever to me, the whole thing and like the decisions people make are terrible. And I know that's what horror movies are.

But like, I don't like, I just feel like everything is a disaster. I feel like, you know, like the, and they tried to she take gross shock value up again, too. Like that work, like with the piece of glass,

taking out the governor's eye. So he's hugging his zombie daughter. Like it's so ridiculous. Whenever they introduce a new group, I have my hopes up that they are going to follow through and and actually explain about some of the characters.

Yeah. So I just hope they do that. No, seeing that these guys are now in a, I guess in a safe place in the prison. Yeah.

That they have some and that the original group has kind of accepted them a little bit at least. They're at least able to kill them right away. Yeah.

Yeah. And but Carl is somebody who you think might just kill all new people. Yeah. Yeah.

But he looks like he might know that his dad and the other guys might may not come back. So he needs these, these new guys with him. Yeah. Carl.

Carl, Carl, all of a sudden making adult decisions and Herschel just letting Carl wander the prison by himself with a gun when they hear strange noise. No, you can't go there. My dad would aren't.

All right. Yeah. Whatever. I don't know, but I got a lot like what am I gonna do chase you? I honestly, I think that only part of it that I truly enjoyed this week was was when the nameless white prisoner. I guess there's nameless black prisoner nameless white prisoner.

The nameless white prisoner his line with with Carol with the lesbian hair is like.

Well, and you're a lesbian and she goes, I'm not a lesbian. He goes, but you got you got the short hair after hitting like he was creepily hitting on a 17 year old girl.

Carol brings him over to give him a talking to he sort of says she's cute and she's like, I you're silly and then just kind of walks away.
