What's up everybody? Trey Biddy with hogsports.com coming to you from Donald W. Reynolds, Razorback Stadium, following the first major scrimmage of spring football for the Razorbacks. The Walk and talk is built by Sutherland.

I bet you didn't know they're big Razorback people. Both Sutherland reached out to me last year about doing something and certainly appreciate having them and we'll talk about them a little bit later but first I wanted to get to

what we got going on out here 140 plays today on this field they just painted it the other day

so 140 plays is we're like 21 days away from football didn't get to watch the scrimmage

unfortunately but obviously we spoke to sam pitman Xavier and sory tail Green afterwards, got some stats and stuff like that, we'll discuss.

And I have been able to attend the other seven practices for 30 minutes each, you know, I'll talk about some of my takeaways from that.

The most encouraging thing today was Andrew Harris.

Sam Pittman had said something in the spring about he doesn't know how a linebacker.

He said this specifically. I don't know how a linebacker moves up the depth chart unless you

unless you tackle. And they had 140 tackle plays today. And also, you know, came out of it pretty clean.

Now they've got some bumps and bruises, some, you know, injuries here and there. Andreas Poska is the only one today with a high ankle sprain who had any injury. But, you know, he said, you know, when they come out just in spiders and stuff, they have as many injuries as they do live tackle. So, you know, that's kind of why he's decided to do live tackling, why some other teams have kind of gone away from that kind of stuff in practices. It is football

after all. But Andrew Harris, who he says hits like a truck, like a rock, I mean just stymies

people. Him coming along is important because there has been a lot of talk about playing

three linebackers with Stephen Dix, Xavier and Sory, Bradley Shaw, and, you know, like a 3.35

look as they, you know, kind of want to bring along the

defensive end position. But if you do that you're going to end up with three very beat-up

linebackers. You know they've rotated three guys in the past like you know Hayden Henry and

Bump a pool and Grant Morgan but all those guys that you know by the end of the season or midway

their season their shoulders are all beat up. You got bionic elbows, all that kind of stuff. So it's good to be able to rotate players, obviously. So here in Andrew Harris is starting to come along is a very good sign. You know, he's a former four-star recruiters at UCF. Hadn really panned out there, you know, had some, obviously some changes with coordinators and stuff, but that's certainly positive news. And the other part that I think is important is we're

starting to hear Justice Boone's name pop up a lot. All three offensive linemen we spoke to the other day.

Kobe Branham, Amerian Harris, and Corey Robinson all brought up Justice Boone's name as a defensive

lineman that's been standing out to them.
