Today I want to talk to you from Luke chapter one and it's a story of Zechariah and Elizabeth. They were now both old people that Elizabeth was

childless. She couldn't bear kids anymore and she is way past her age of childbearing and Zechariah was a priest so he was

serving God he knew what was going on and angel appears to him in the in the temple and he begins to tell him

that your wife is going to give you a son you're going to name him John he is going to be a joy to

this world his birth is going to change the world. He is going to be a joy to this world. His birth is going to change the world. That he is going to be baptized in the womb with the Holy Spirit. He's just going to be this amazing firing cracker. In our church, whenever we have a prophet here, or whenever we have a man of God and they're speaking to you, we were brought up and raised up that you have to say, yes, I receive,

I take it, I blame it, all of that. We are trained pretty well here. Well, Zechariah did not get

that training. So when Angel Gabriel appeared to him, this is what he said. Luke chapter 1, verse

18.

Zechariah asked the angel,

how can I be sure of this?

I'm an old man and my wife is well along her years.

Angel answered to him,

I am Gabriel.

I stand in the presence of God,

and I have been sent to you to speak to you and tell you this good news.

And now you'll be silent and do not able to speak until the day this happens.

Because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.
