Summary
What if the language you're learning to speak has nothing to do with your circumstances and everything to do with your identity? In this episode, we explore waking up to who we are in Christ and how God's vision of us is rigid, inflexible, and unchanging—in the best possible way. Graham invites us to discover how we're known in heaven, long before we even knew ourselves.
Key Scriptures:
+ 2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
+ Colossians 3:2. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
+ Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
+ Malachi 3:6. For I am the Lord, I do not change.
+ Luke 1:13-17. The angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John..."
+ Matthew 5:17-48. The Sermon on the Mount - "You have heard it said, but I say to you..."
+ Matthew 17:1-8. The Mount of Transfiguration - Jesus is transfigured before Peter, James, and John, with Moses and Elijah appearing.
+ Luke 16:16. The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached.
