What is up, it's the rant. My name is Jeff Rackle, but it is Tuesday, October 19th, week

0:22.2

seven begins today. Yeah, it's that weird Tuesday to Monday schedule that we run on here for football purposes,

0:32.0

but game on week seven, game on lots of buys, game on lots of opportunity. Things are changing in

0:39.2

fantasy football. There's no doubt about it. You might have observed that as well with some of your

0:42.5

leagues. The buy weeks definitely throw a wrench into the system, and especially this week here.

0:49.2

So we're going to dive into it today. Of course, we will also give you, and by we I mean me,

0:54.4

the recommendations for team defense streamers, the defenses I'm holding. If I have some hold and

1:01.6

cut options as well. But let's get right into it today. At the top of my list, I took a peek,

1:09.3

and Elijah Mitchell is out there in roughly a third of leagues. Now, remember, on this show,

1:14.5

I do cast a wide net, but he is number one in my waiver wire rankings here for week seven.

1:20.8

I'm going upwards to 35% with the way that running back is I know people aren't overly confident in

1:26.3

Elijah Mitchell, but running back has been brutal this season. Absolutely brutal. So I'm going 35%

1:33.9

and no, I do not expect Jeff Wilson back anytime soon. Michael Carter, 35% as well. He is widely

1:40.4

available. I think both of these were prime examples of people sorting by projected points last

1:47.9

week and not picking up guys who were on by pretty much plain and simple. Both of those guys are

1:53.4

ahead of any streamer options, any replacement options at the position. Number three on my list,

2:01.4

I am going to Cleal Herbert at 25%. Now, keep in mind, once David Montgomery comes back,

2:07.0

Cleal Herbert slides back into deep handcuffed territory, but I don't think that happens until

2:14.2

after the Bears by week, which means three more weeks. At this point, if you can get three weeks of

2:21.0

a rental out of a running back, that is worth upwards of a quarter of your initial fat budget.

2:28.0

So 25% here. I like what I saw this past week. That was a, was a tough game for the Bears,

2:34.6

the Bears hung in there and Herbert ran well. He's a better early down runner than Damien Williams is,
