I want to read two verses today, one from the beginning of Psalm 31 and one from the end.

So Psalm 31, verse 2, incline your ear to me, rescue me speedily, exclamation point.

Then Psalm 31, verse 24, be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord.

The same Psalm, the same song, the same prayer at the beginning is saying, God, please listen

it's right and good when we are praying to ask God for his help now, immediately, speedily. That's not wrong to ask God for his help now, immediately, speedily.

That's not wrong to ask God for that, to cry out to God in a Psalm 31, verse 2 kind of way,
