it keeps me going. The Lord uses this to humble me and remind me of the mantle of leadership he's given

me to pour out and to teach people what he has taught me

in the hopes that they too can have an intimate and real relationship and understanding

with the God of the universe, the God of the Bible. Now today we are going to be talking about

waiting on the Lord. Now this might not be everyone's favorite podcast episode because we so often want God to answer our prayers right then and there.

We want to be out of the season and in the new season already, right? We want to be with our spouse already. We want to be where we want to be. We want to be at that school. We want to have that job. We want to have these things. We want to see this healing. We want to experience that miracle, but the reality is is that we will

spend a lot more time waiting on God than we will sing answered prayers happen the very moment that we pray about it.

Can God answer our prayers and give us the desires of our heart in a short span of time?

Absolutely. There have been instances in my own life where God put a new desire on my heart and I began to really press into it and pray about it and I saw those things come to fruition shortly after one of them actually being this podcast.
