This is the greatest hour to follow Jesus.

I had such a blessed day today, quiet day.

And I love my Sundays because I love to just spend time in the word. Of course I do every day, but Sunday is like special, you know.

I have communion and just quietness. And I'm reading Isaiah today, and I was so stunned by what I read, the Jewish people, this is after the Babylonian invasion and captivity, and you can read about it also in Jeremiah,

were the Jews that had stayed in the land after the captives had gone to Babylon.

They wanted to go to Egypt. And the Lord said, no, wanted to go to Egypt.

And the Lord said, no, don't go to Egypt.

He said, your strength is in being still.

Isn't that powerful?

And I thought, to myself this morning, I thought, what an amazing revelation.

Your strength isn't being still, not going to Egypt, wearing yourself out.

And in that same chapter, we also read, In returning and quietness shall be your strength.

And the Lord in that same chapter said,

he said, I am waiting for you to wait on me.

I'm waiting for you to wait on me. I'm waiting for you to wait on me.

So I might be merciful to you.

And it struck me.

A few days ago, I was speaking to Bethany,

House of Bethany, House of Bethany.

How many are a part of House of Bethany?

Okay, you were there, so, but Michael wasn't there, but it's okay.

You're a part of it, I love it.
