Summary

The tenured farmer, after preparing the ground with seed, does not pester the crop to hurry the harvest. He waits. James tells us to be patient for the coming of the Lord. We should not wait with grumbling, but with joy, establishing our hearts in the Lord. He has set a time, and He will return.

0:23.2	This is James 5-7-11. Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord.
0:30.1	See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth,
0:33.1	being patient about it, until it receives the early and late reigns.
0:36.9	You also be patient. Establish your hearts for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
0:41.6	Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged.
0:45.7	Behold, the judge is standing at the door.
0:48.3	As an example of suffering and patience, brothers,
0:50.8	take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
0:53.4	Behold, we consider those blessed who remain steadfast.
0:57.2	You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord.
