No one likes to wait, but today's podcast reminds us that if we jump ahead of God's timing,

0:12.0

we're sure to make a mess of things.

0:14.8

God loves you and desires to meet. The needs of your life promises to answer your prayers. But that does not mean

0:23.4

that he's going to give you everything you want when you want it. And you see, it's our unwillingness

0:29.2

1:41.7

one who waits for him. Now, what does the Bible mean by God acting in our behalf?

1:47.0

Here's what it means.

1:48.0

It means that God is a personal God.

1:50.0

He knows every single one of us and everything about us because he's omniscient.

1:55.0

To act in our behalf means that he is willing to become involved in every aspect of our life. And if he's acting

2:06.1

in my behalf, he's going to bring about those things that are good for me. He's going to act

2:12.1

in such a way as to accomplish his will and purpose. And many people will live their lives and die in ignorance of this truth.
