My grandmother lived a life devoted to Jesus, and today her talks have been made available

in their original form.

So you too can be built up through the insights and mysteries God revealed to her throughout

her ministry.

Now without further ado, here is Elizabeth Elliott.

Lars and I certainly want to say thank you to all of you who have been so warm in your

kind remarks and appreciation, and for us it's just a great pleasure and a privilege, and

we always feel as though we are the major beneficiaries of this kind of a weekend.

So we are very grateful for the chance to be here.

My husband asked me to tell you that he had taken some orders for discipline, the

glad surrender, and he found some more copies.

So those of you who did order them if you would like to pick up your copies instead of waiting

for him to mail them, he'd be glad to see you at the book table.

And he also asked me to say this, I hope I can quote you accurately darling.

I aim for clarity, but sometimes I get confused, was that it close enough?

I said to him one time, as he was trying to explain something with great difficulty,

it's clarity we aim for, and he said, yeah, but it's stupidity we got.

So we've talked about waiting on God, under the headings of trust, relinquishment, doing

the next thing in this morning piece.
