We have a very exciting show tonight with a special guest, one that has been kind of a founding father in the fantasy baseball and podcast industry,

and one that Steve and I have both followed and listened to for a long time.

But first, I got to tease it a little bit.

And it has to be addressed, Steve, that for the second time in our five-year podcast history,

we had an in-person run in last week, spontaneous trip for me from central Illinois, out to

New York City to catch a show.

It was a birthday Christmas gift for my wife and got to crash at the podcast studio of Steve

Giswelly.

So it was a larger-than-life moment, and I just had to officially cite on the air how grateful

I am for that. You guys are fantastic hosts.

How are you doing before we introduce our guest of honor tonight? Oh, it was great, and it was

great seeing you. It's funny. I mean, we talked about it when this show was like 15 episodes

old, and now we're 163 into it, which is crazy to say. But the only two times I've seen you was

at my wedding, which was another spontaneous trip. And then last weekend, on like 12 hours

notice of you crashing at my place for a trip to New York City. But it was great seeing you

and hosting you. And it was short but sweet,

and I'm glad we got to do it. I mean, we've talked about it. We've spent countless hours
