Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Wednesday. This is Seattle now. You may not be

thinking about holiday shopping just yet, but the companies you're hoping to buy gifts from sure are.

Time is of the essence, and tariffs imposed by the Trump administration are putting trade-dependent

Washington in a tough position. In a minute, Seattle Times business reporter Paul Roberts will tell us

how companies, ports, and consumers are beginning to feel the squeeze.

State Attorney General Nick Brown is pressing the federal government to make good on restitution payments owed to Washingtonians.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ordered pre-hired LLC to pay out more

than $4 million to victims of a predatory tech sales program after a dozen states sued.

The AG's office said in a release, the company hasn't issued any payments and in February stopped providing any updates.

The multi-state coalition is now demanding the feds respond with a time frame on when those payments will be made.

Protesters will rally outside the ICE facility in Tacoma this morning to demand the release of Cleona Ward.

Ward is a permanent resident who's been living in the U.S. for more than 30 years. She was detained by immigration officials

in March after a trip to her home country of Ireland. She was initially questioned and detained
