Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here, and today we're going to be talking about new comments from

Volkswagen CEO Herbert Deese, who also got news on Tesla Insurance, an update on the

cold weather issues that Tesla's been having, then some news in the supply chain, an interesting

new trademark from Tesla, and a couple other things as well.

Alright, well, looking at the markets, kind of one of those we had them in the first half

kind of days today, Tesla finishing up barely 6100s of a percent to $996.27.

After the NASDAQ did open pretty far in the green and trailed off throughout the day, falling

by 1.3% and hitting the lowest closing price in basically seven months the last time the

NASDAQ closed lower, June 21st, 2021.

Broadly the markets are going to continue to be interesting as we now head into earnings

season and of course the Fed meeting next week.

In terms of earnings, Netflix kind of kicking it off today, and it is down as I'm recording

now about 13% after hours despite beating on earnings per share.

Obviously, that's not the only earnings consideration outlook and things like that.

Alright, moving on from the stock, I want to start off today with a new interview from

the verge of Volkswagen CEO Herbert Deese.

This was a lengthy interview and a few interesting points in here from Deese.

First off, he's talking about Volkswagen's electrification plans, previously they had

said that they do want to target 50% of their sales being EVs by 2030.
